Dear Friends

The world is a noisy, busy place. Many of us aren’t overly thrilled about taking on more tech products, dashboards modules, reports and interfaces to work with, learn, re-learn, train others and inevitably - let's face it - mostly never use. The original promise of software was simple; it should work around your business, not the other way around. Somewhere along the way over the last several years, we seem to have lost our way on this promise. We believe it's time to turn the page on this thinking.

Our business lives are already complicated and full of challenges. We don't need more complex platforms and products, costing more than they ever did before, taking up more of our people's time to 'help' us operate our business.Some of us don't have the time. Some of us don't have the technical knowledge. Some of us don't have the patience. Many of us don't have all three. We think there's a better way.

Our vision with Sophy is to bring to life a simple - yet incredibly wise - decision making AI to the lives of operators and managers everywhere. One that allows you to run your business in a world where you don't have to wrestle with complex onboarding processes, pay eye-watering fees or face steep learning curves. One that - like the calculator app on your phone - allows you to simply lean in, use it when you need to quickly, then lean back out and continue with your day.

One that you can unleash across your entire business operations, directing it to find gaps, weaknesses, risks and opportunities. One that then informs the right person on the team, recommends an action and offers to complete it for that team member. It's that 'imagine if' feeling you've always had as an operator.

Sophy is still a baby elephant. She has much to learn and much growing to do. Whilst there is a never-ending list of features coming in to Sophy, our work is primarily focused around three key areas:

1. Empower sprawling teams across a country to get their slice of business performance visibility relative to their role, site or area without needing to bug data analysts and tech people at head office. We do this by syncing and orchestrating data from internal sources as well as external ones, then plug in a combination of extractive and generative large language models, dip it in to our own secret sauce of algorithms, logic and UX, to give anybody, anywhere, unrestricted access to get the data they need, in plain English, without relying on bottlenecked team members at head office to create a custom static dashboard which doesn't learn, innovate or adapt to their business.

2. Allow anybody on the team to know the minute something is happening so that they can take immediate action on it. We call it Blindspot Mode. Think of it as running Sophy on autopilot in the background 24/7, letting it pulse updates, notifications and Request-For-Action items to the right people immediately as they are happening. It learns your business inside out, makes correlations and provides warnings or suggestions on specific areas of your business you ought to look at.

3. Enable Sophy to take action and do things on an operator's behalf.

Old platforms tell us why something has happened.
Sophy tells us what's happened, why and what to do about it.

It's Day 0. And Sophy is very much at the beginning of her adventures.

If you decide to join us on the journey, we hope you like exploring, chatting and letting a connected, decision-making intelligence inform and recommend actions to make for your org at an ultra-rapid pace. After all, we make hundreds of decisions in the moments, minutes, hours and days. Reacting to all these changing variables in our busy world isn't going to work with our old arsenal of tools. It hasn't until now really, so it isn't going to get any better as things get quicker and more intense.
