Dear Friends,

The world is a noisy, busy place.

Many of us aren’t overly thrilled about taking on more tech products, dashboards, reports and interfaces to work with, learn, re-learn, train others others and inevitably - let's face it - mostly never use.

The original promise of software was simple; it should work around you, not the other way around.

Somewhere over the last several years, we seem to have lost our way on this promise, leaving us entangled in a web of chaos and back-and-forths with our teams in chat apps, asking one another too many questions just to see if something on some report is true or accurate amongst a tonne of other follow up questions.

We believe it's time to turn the page on this kind of thinking.

Our business lives are already complicated and we certainly don't need any more big, complex tech products with extremely painful onboarding and implementation schedules.Old world tools such as reports, analytics and dashboards also aren’t winning the day. These tools tell us what happened yesterday, last week or last month. But not why. Or what to do about something happening right now. Or later this afternoon.They don’t learn, know our business or innovate. They give us a pulse on what’s happening more broadly, which is useful for team meets and general updates of course, but not for daily or hourly rapid decision-making during trade.

The reality is, these are the decisions that impact revenue and actually matter.

Reports weren’t ever designed to help in this fast, frantic world that’s constantly throwing variables at us. They’re outdated by the time they reach our decision-makers and any requests to data/BI team members to create custom reports and dashboards aren’t working as bottlenecks continue to build between those who operate BI/data platforms and the thousands across the country who need to know and deal with matters taking place right now for their site, city or role.

More reports and dashboards aren’t the answer.
More complex software isn’t either.
Some of us don't have the time.
Some of us don't have the technical knowledge.
Many of us don't have both.
